Pertaining to Pakistani entertainment industry if nothing is at its peak then Pakistan’s Fashion Industry is on the boom from last couple of years constantly. Men’s fashion week is also in news these days. Fashion and Arts schools are opening rapidly in the major cities of Pakistan.
No fashion industry has recognition of “fashion week” exclusively. After the industrious efforts of organizers, the first ever Pakistan fashion week initiated in 2009 with a massive success in the world of fashion. Aptitude superior and adolescent couturiers of Pakistan walked their models to the fashion runway with the astonishing design, cuts and vibrant colors which fascinated and moved the international fashion market to make Men’s fashion week recognizable. Countless buyers and audience show their presence and interest in this mega event with majestic expectations. Both males and females models walked on the ramp wearing outfit with attractive gestures and struts. Designers from other countries also showed their creativity of their cultures. Hence this event took a great start and running successfully now.
Men’s Fashion Week
Yet another foresees fashion week just for men is now to begin. Men’s Fashion Week 2014 (MFW) agenda was set and to start at the last week of August 2013, but sadly this was postponed not knowing till when due to conceal reasons, but planners say they are trying their level best to figure out the issues and put forth a anticipated event. “The event was delayed due to some obvious problems. Munib Nawaz, the spokesperson and creative director of MFW, shared his views to the Express Tribune that our entire team is tackling these problems he also added “We are determined to bring Men’s Fashion Week to Pakistan but putting an event together for the first time has its own share of problems.”
When the press asked about the obstacles which are in the middle of this then Nawaz said, “No blame games here. Our commitment to the event is sincere and I assure you that we will release all the relevant information soon. Previously, Nawaz had announced in a press conference that the organisers will be looking for men’s accessory designers also to add flavour and funk. Furthermore he said that men in Pakistan have complete right to dress up but sadly the designers and men’s wear producers aren’t collaborating for this act.
A preview of Men’s Fashion Week held in Karachi, The shows were styled by Muneer Muhammad with choreography by Moiz Kazmi. The shows were produced by Mansoor Vohra of Rampedge Fashion with the setup, logistics and event management by the team at Createch. A leading name in menswear line, “Munib Nawaz” presented his collection with the title called Black Friday. The theme presentation was all about the depression arising in our educated youth generation. This collection included with white lowers and black formals and discarded light on all the dimness around us.
“Designer duo Akbar & Babar” presenting a tribute to the designer duo’s Punjabi roots, showcased an ample sorts of casual and formal shirts, kameez shalwar, suitings, sherwanis and nocturnal wears as well.
“Sameer Ali” was the other designer who also put forth his experimental collection which was titled as Urban Vogue. His collection includes various materials and fabrics like silk, leather and cottons in a very modern procedure.
“Daniyal” is an online retailer sold implausible collection of customizes menswear. He’s also getting a huge response over social media websites.
Dressmaking is like writing poetry at Kamaliyat. The collection began with inspiration, took form on paper, pulsated with rhythm and radiated with colour. At the end, each line was reviewed and punctuated with subtle embellishments. Surprisingly every garment became a piece of good quality art.
In Men’s Fashion Week Pakistan “Tayyab Bombal” stole the show because. He showcased a capsule collection of his new multi-hued ties and a collage of shalwar kameez for the menswear. The collection was for the common men and goes into solving the mystery behind the incidents in Pakistan. The collection was aptly titled, Namaloom Afraad.
